Former High Gear script author Richard Porter has lifted the lid on what it was like working with Jeremy Clarkson in a brand new interview.

Richard Porter, who labored as a script author on the hit exhibits High Gear and The Grand Tour, has spoken out about his expertise working with the likes of Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James Might. Richard labored with the trio for 22 years and has opened up about what he’ll miss in regards to the presenters.
Talking to Evo.co.uk, he shared: “They had been adults behaving like kids; they had been intelligent individuals doing silly issues; they had been formidable and adventurous, typically past their skills. However most of all they had been humorous. And that’s what I’ll miss about working with them. He revealed Jeremy was the primary presenter forged for High Gear and producers spent a variety of time in pubs questioning if the idea was going to take off. Hammond joined for the opening sequence, and Might was welcomed to the forged for season two.
They concluded: “No matter else you considered these three and their fixed knobbing about in pursuit of leisure, I can promise you that they by no means stopped being individuals like us. And I’m actually going to overlook that.”
