All six US service members have been killed after a refuelling aircraft crashed in Iraq, the US navy has confirmed. The US Central Command, which oversees operations within the Center East, stated the crash occurred at 2pm on Thursday.
US CENTCOM posted on X: “All six crew members refuelling a U.S. KC-135 refuelling plane that went down in western Iraq at the moment are confirmed deceased. The plane was misplaced whereas flying over pleasant airspace on March 12 throughout Operation Epic Fury. The circumstances of the incident are underneath investigation.
