The 4 astronauts of SpaceX’s Crew-12 mission to the Worldwide Area Station have left for the launchpad.

NASA and SpaceX despatched a brand new 4‑member crew to the Worldwide Area Station on Thursday, February 12, marking the beginning of the station’s newest analysis expedition. The workforce — NASA astronauts Jessica Meir and Jack Hathaway, together with France’s Sophie Adenot and Russia’s Andrei Fadyaev — took off from Florida’s Kennedy Area Heart aboard a SpaceX Crew Dragon spacecraft, carried into orbit by a Falcon 9 rocket.
Commander Jessica Meir thanks Nasa, SpaceX and Falcon employees as she jokes that it has been “fairly a trip”. She stated: ” our planet from above it’s instantly clear that every thing is interconnected.The huge oceans, the persevering with landmasses… we’re one humankind. We all know it’s completely distinctive, fragile and should be protected. Crew-12 is grateful and prepared for the journey forward.”
