Maria da Gloria Pereira da Silva Favaro, 72, died in hospital two days after struggling a tragic fall at Congonhas Airport in São Paulo whereas travelling to her daughter’s birthday celebration.
She was rushed to Alemao Osvaldo Cruz Hospital by ambulance following the incident, however sadly, two days later, she died. Maria’s daughter, Raquel Fávaro, shared an emotional tribute to her mum on social media. Thanking her mum “for every little thing”, Raquel wrote she is going to “all the time” love her.
She wrote: “I’ll all the time love you. After I turned a mom, I realised that your love and selflessness have been really even larger than I might see.
“Thanks for every little thing and, particularly, for what you probably did that I couldn’t ‘see’.
“I hope that my love will at some point repay, a minimum of partly, every little thing you probably did for me.”
Whereas providing their condolences, Latam Airways Brazil stated in an announcement they adopted the “protocols established for this kind of state of affairs”.
