Aberthin pub hearth: Firefighters battle blaze at 300-year-old Hare & Hounds pub

A 300-year-old pub in Wales was engulfed by smoke this morning after a hearth broke out. Firefighters battled the blaze on the Hare & Hounds pub in Aberthin, Cowbridge – a Michelin star pub – on Thursday.

Photos from the scene confirmed smoke billowing out of the home windows as firefighters tried to manage the blaze. There have been no instant studies of damage on the pub, which was evacuated. The hearth was quashed earlier than 2pm, the hearth service mentioned.

Senedd member ‘deeply saddened’
