A large earthquake has rocked a rustic in South America. A tremor struck Chile on Thursday afternoon, February 12. The US Geological Survey (USGS) estimated the energy of the quake to be at 6.2 magnitude.
The tremor hit 32 kilometres south-west of Ovalle, a metropolis in central Chile. There was no tsunami risk.
