Former Premier League proprietor stabbed in London residence by masked robbers

Fawaz Al-Hasawi, the previous Nottingham Forest proprietor, was stabbed by masked robbers after they confronted him in his residence earlier this month. Al-Hasawi, 57, owned the Premier League membership between 2012 and 2017 earlier than promoting Forest to their present chief, Evangelos Marinakis.

His tenure noticed the membership cycle by way of 9 managers in 5 years within the Championship, with Marinakis subsequently overseeing their return to the Premier League again in 2022. The Solar report that Al-Hasawi, a Kuwaiti businessman, was in his £10million residence in Mayfair when it was raided by robbers.

Al-Hasawi is alleged to have been sleeping once they entered his room and he was left with stab wounds to his fingers and neck after the confrontation.

Pictures of Al-Hasawi with bandaged fingers have circulated extensively on social media. The report provides that it’s presently unclear if the assailants made off with something from the previous Forest proprietor’s residence.

The previous Wolves boss, Vitor Pereira, was named because the membership’s fourth head coach of the season on Sunday, following Sean Dyche’s dismissal earlier this week.
