BBC’s Laura Kuenssberg followers ‘change off’ as Boris Johnson interview sparks fury

Followers have been outraged as Laura welcomed the previous PM onto the BBC present, after a earlier blunder.

Followers of Laura Kuenssberg “switched off” as they fumed over the visitor lineup for her Sunday BBC present. She was joined by Bridget Phillipson, Laura Trott, Admiral Sir Tony Radakin and former Prime Minister Boris Johnson. 

Nonetheless, followers have been fuming over the latter visitor, as Laura hoped to achieve the Conservative politician’s ideas on the likes of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor being arrested. Taking to X, previously Twitter, one viewer raged: “Why is #bbclaurak bothering to interview ineffective Boris Johnson? No one provides a flying f*** what that buffoon thinks about something! What subsequent? Liz Truss giving her views in regards to the siege of Troy! I am off, BBC.” One other echoed: “#bbclaurak Why on earth are you giving air time to the discredited Boris Johnson – I’ve zero curiosity in what he has to say to the world.”

Yet one more fumed: “Absolutely the state of Spaffer Johnson. The final time Kuenssberg scheduled an interview with him, she needed to cancel it as she’d emailed the questions upfront. Little question she’ll have performed the identical this time. #bbcbreakfast #bbclaurak.”

As one other angrily penned: “Who’s BRIGHT IDEA was it to wheel BLAGGARD BORIS JOHNSON to be interviewed by Laura Kuenssberg FAN GIRL of his ??? #bbclaurak @bbclaurak. All of us needs to be completely LIVID if the BBC are paying him for his POPPYCOCK and SILLINESS from our LICENCE FEES.”

Laura was beforehand left “embarrassed” as she made a momentous error. Again in 2024, the presenter was pressured to cancel an interview with Johnson after she unintentionally despatched the previous prime minister her briefing notes.

The interview was pulled from air utterly because the BBC’s former political editor stated it was “not proper for the interview to go forward” after sharing notes with him which had been supposed for her colleagues.

The BBC stated it had agreed with Johnson’s workforce that cancelling the interview was “one of the best ways ahead”.
