The reason for the fireplace isn’t considered suspicious, Police Scotland confirmed they solely attended the scene to help with highway closures.
A Police Scotland spokesperson added: “Officers attended the scene of a car fireplace on Admiralty Highway, Rosyth to help with highway closures. The highway has since reopened. The fireplace was not suspicious and there have been no accidents.”
