John Fury, father of Tyson Fury, has apologised after threatening to headbutt a BBC commentator throughout his son’s comeback press convention this week. Fury Snr was expressing his disdain for Carl Froch, accusing the previous super-middleweight world champion of displaying disrespect.
Shortly after, he encountered BBC boxing reporter Steve Bunce within the hall, with Fury questioning the way in which he was him. Addressing Bunce, he remarked: “What are you ? Don’t have a look at me as a result of I’ll butt your head proper within the f***ing nostril.”
“I believe Netflix is out of order even using Carl Froch and bringing him there, figuring out the friction he’s been inflicting. And he’s a Fury hater, he hates Tyson, he hates the Fury household, why he was there I don’t know, that’s Netflix’s selection, not mine.
