A male movie star in his 50s has been arrested following allegations of tried rape and sexual assault towards a girl in her 20s. It’s understood that the well-known face was interviewed at a police station in North London this afternoon (February 10), in response to the Every day Mail.
The TV star has been accused of tried rape, publicity and sexual assault by touching from a historic incident which occurred within the capital again in 2007.
After being detained by officers, he has since been launched on bail whereas an investigation into the claims is ongoing.
A Met spokesperson instructed the publication: “A person in his 50s was arrested on suspicion of tried rape, publicity and sexual assault by pertaining to Tuesday, 10 February.
“He was interviewed by detectives.”
The assertion added, “This arrest pertains to a sexual offence, which is alleged to have taken place in 2007 in London towards a girl in her 20s.
This man was bailed pending additional enquiries and the Met’s investigation continues.”
