Drivers on the A2 this morning are going through rush hour visitors chaos after an enormous lorry hearth. Lanes 1,2,3 (of 4) are closed on a busy westbound part of the street in Kent.
Motorway digital camera footage exhibits heavy visitors main as much as the scene of the lorry hearth, with automobiles bumper-to-bumper. Nationwide Highways South East wrote on X: “Lanes 1, 2 & 3 (of 4) stay closed on the #A2 in #Kent westbound between #B255 (#Bean) and #M25/#A282 (#Darenth) following a lorry hearth. Lane 4 is open. Delays of greater than 90 minutes above regular journey occasions & 6 miles of congestion. Please enable additional journey time. Restoration companies are in attendance. No accidents had been reported and the reason for the hearth is unknown, the hearth service mentioned.
