UK Athletics lastly admit guilt over dying of Paralympian struck by metallic pole

UK Athletics has admitted to company manslaughter following the tragic dying of Paralympian Abdullah Hayayei. The 36-year-old was struck on the top by a metallic pole throughout a coaching session.

The athlete was getting ready to symbolize the United Arab Emirates within the F34 class discus, javelin, and shot put on the World Para Athletics Championships at Newham Leisure Centre in East London in July 2017. Throughout this preparation, a part of a throwing cage collapsed onto him.

On Friday, UK Athletics Ltd confessed to company manslaughter, having beforehand refuted the accusation.
