Legendary rocker Ozzy Osbourne’s posthumous Lifetime Achievement The Brit Awards proved contentious for viewers who weren’t impressed by the efficiency. The star died in July 2025 on the age of 76 and his Sharon and daughter Kelly accepted the award on his behalf, paying an emotional and closely censored tribute to the Birmingham-born star. A fourth opined: “I like Robbie, however he’s undoubtedly not who I might select to sing Ozzy along with his band & Metallica. A pop voice simply doesn’t work. This #BRITs is bizarre!”
A fifth shared: “Ozzy is at the moment handing over his grave at a tribute for him being led by Robbie Williams.”
