Legendary Disney producer Andrew Gunn has handed away following an ongoing battle with a motor neuron illness, his household has introduced. Andrew, who was 58 years outdated, was identified with the neurological degenerative dysfunction Lou Gehrig’s Illness in 2024. His household confirmed he died on Monday at his house in Toronto, Canada, surrounded by his family members. Tributes have been flooding in following the heartbreaking information, with movie author Blaise Hemingway saying: “Andrew Gunn’s legacy will go far past the films he made; he’s the ‘godfather’ to extra writers, producers, administrators, and executives than I can depend. So many people owe our careers to Andrew Gunn.”

Forward of his passing, Andrew was thrilled to work on the sequel to Freaky Friday, which was launched final August, alongside Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan together with his two kids.
He wrote to the Hollywood Reporter: “The most effective half was my daughter labored within the digital camera division and bought into the (cinematographers) union and my son labored in props. So I bought to see them every single day. I can’t specific what that meant to me.”
