The switch-up of staff comes simply weeks after it was introduced that Mumbai, India, would host the 2026 Earthshot Prize.
It marks the halfway level of The Earthshot Prize’s 10-year mission to scale daring options to restore our planet.
The annual Prize has already backed 75 Finalists, awarded £25m, and helped mobilise greater than £370m (US$500m) in comply with‑on funding.
Their improvements have protected and restored over 1m sq km of land and ocean, stopped 250,000 tonnes of waste going to landfill and reduce 4.8m tonnes of CO₂.
