The walkouts, organised by the Nationwide Union of Rail, Maritime and Transport Staff (RMT), will contain seven 24-hour strikes going down from noon till 11.59am the next day. RMT normal secretary Eddie Dempsey stated the union had raised considerations concerning the proposals for months however had been unable to succeed in an settlement with administration.

TfL stated the proposals would initially apply solely to drivers on the Bakerloo line and could be voluntary.
