Kansas Metropolis Airport has reportedly been evacuated on account of a bomb risk, with travellers caught on the tarmac. The key journey hub in Missouri is alleged to have moved individuals from Concourse A to Concourse B on Saturday, in keeping with social media reviews. One pissed off passenger stated his flight had landed from New Orleans, however not allowed to go to the gate.

He wrote on X: “There’s an energetic bomb risk on the Kansas Metropolis Airport. My airplane from New Orleans simply landed. Pilot stated we gained’t go to the gate for hours. And this was after MSY TSA was a 3 hour line as a result of authorities shutdown. Craziest journey day I’ve ever had.”

The bomb risk has not been confirmed. The Kansas Metropolis Aviation Division instructed The Mirror US it “is conscious of a state of affairs at Kansas Metropolis Worldwide Airport (MCI)”.

“As a precaution, the division has evacuated sections of the Airport Terminal,” the assertion continued. “Airport Police are working with the FBI to substantiate any potential risk.”
