Two British nationals have been arrested over an alleged tried kidnap on a busy road in a vacation resort. The pair had been arrested after an alleged incident occurring in of the vacation hotspots most beloved by UK vacationers – Majorca.

The alleged incident, police stated, occurred at 12pm GMT (1pm native time) on Sunday, March 15, within the Son Ferriol neighbourhood of Palma, the Balearic Island’s capital. A spokesman for the Nationwide Police in Majorca stated on Monday: “I can affirm a British couple have been arrested and are at the moment being held in custody over an incident that occurred round 1pm yesterday within the Palma neighbourhood of Son Ferriol.”

The Brits have been described as “middle-aged” by the pressure.

The spokeswoman stated: “They’re middle-aged, aged between 40 and 45.

“The girl focused is in her early sixties. She was taken to hospital however had solely minor accidents and was discharged shortly afterwards.”
