Heavy rain sparked a warning from Jet2 in current days, alerting passengers to potential disruption to flights.
Portugal’s nationwide climate company issued a yellow warning for wind on Saturday.

Climate company warns of giant waves in northern Madeira
Portuguese climate company IPMA has issued climate warnings for Madeira.
On the North Coast of Madeira and in Porto Santo island, it has forecast a ‘coastal occasion’ from 6pm as we speak till 6am on April 13.
It warned there could possibly be waves from the north/northwest with heights of 4 to 4.5 metres.
Jet2 warned its passengers of potential disruption to flights yesterday.
