Extra Tube strikes hit the London Underground on Thursday, April 23, as commuters confronted extra disruption. A second 24-hour strike commenced at noon in the present day, that means there shall be extra delays on Friday, April 24, too.
The Rail, Maritime and Transport Union (RMT) is hanging over plans to alter the working week, elevating fears for the security of drivers. Transport for London (TfL) argues that the commercial motion is “utterly pointless” because the proposed working sample modifications are non-compulsory.
