Police are responding to an incident at Swindon New School

Swindon New School has been locked down by police after an incident on Friday. Officers are on scene on the Queens Drive campus, with round eight police vehicles and armed police autos in attendance, the Swindon Advertiser reviews. Sources from contained in the constructing informed the outlet that they are being saved inside, with orders to “keep in place” and “out of sight”. One pupil mentioned his buddies had been caught ready within the maths hall.
Two males have been detained following reviews of a male with a knife on the faculty. Wiltshire Police confirmed no knife was discovered. The pressure mentioned: “We attended New School in Swindon at roughly 11am in the present day following a report a male had been seen with a knife. Officers attended and two males had been detained. Searches had been carried out and no knife was discovered.”
