M25 drivers in Kent have been hit by big delays this night following the closure of a stretch of the UK busiest motorway. Nationwide Highways stated the M25 is closed clockwise between the A206 (Dartford) and M25 J2 (Bean), as a result of a “police led incident”.

Kent Police and Kent Hearth & Rescue Companies have rushed to the scene. Drivers have been warned they face “extreme delays” of 90 minutes and 7 miles of visitors. Nationwide Highways East wrote on X: “The #A282 southbound stays closed between J1A #Dartford and J1B #Darenth for a police led incident. @kent_police and @kentfirerescue are on scene. There are delays of 90 minutes and seven miles of congestion on the method.”

On the A206/A226 roundabout, take the third exit onto the B255 in the direction of Bean.

Observe the B255 previous Bluewater to the A2 junction roundabout.

Take the second exit onto Bean Lane and cross the A2, and observe the indicators to hitch the A2 in the direction of London.
