Antony has shared his experiences volunteering for Brougton Home, a retirement residence for ex-soldiers in Manchester, previously. In 2019 he defined how he saved a suicidal soldier.

He defined: “I drove to a motorway bridge, to a soldier I’d by no means met who was suicidal after which drove him again to my home.” 5 years later, they crossed paths in a grocery store.

He defined: “I noticed him in a grocery store, strolling in direction of me with a pram together with his spouse and two infants.

“There was Christmas music enjoying and I stepped spherical my trolley and hugged him. We have been each near tears and he simply mentioned: ‘thanks’. It made my Christmas and that’s why I do what I do.”
